^^^ He got there before me. Change yr ISO setting. If you're indoors, you'll need a setting of about 1/4 sec without flash with the shutter wide open. As GaryS says, ISO 400 should do the trick. Anything higher you'll end up with noise/grainy pics.

Most people end up getting a 1KVA (1000vA) transformer with two power sockets. about £50. A search might help you find the answer you're looking for as to the duty of your 300vA one.
