BTM performance one!! The fit and finish is awesome! I'd like to say the noise is awesome but mines blowing at the cat so need to get it welded before I can really comment on that! It's around £500
Yeah oem ones are a 32mm, most patern parts are 36 apparently. I've got some in the garage waiting to be fitted and bought a viscous fan spanner with 32 one end and 36mm the other. Trade card was less than £10
Basic socket set plus a 30mm socket and torque wrench that goes to 175nm.
Jack up on stands, wheel off, calipers off with two bolts, carrier off with two bolts, hub nut off disc off new disc on making sure the little washer/spacer is in the right way! Rebuild in reverse with hub nut at 175nm
I know people say no assistance at all in these cars is horrifically heavy steering but it's something I've been considering for a while... Would love to have a drive in a ph2 with no power steering if anyone would be willing to let me?? :)
For just road use I'd get pagid fronts from euro car parts.. As long as you're nota tit can't see it being an issue. Genuine rears though as they have the bearings in the disc
Reset it on the motorway and ill see 47 mpg being careful, 30mph in 5th will show about 60mpg. Commute to work is 7 miles of country lanes and I'm seeing 30mpg as a lowest :)
