did some maintanance on my car in the form of new drilled disks and pads from ktec, (good product btw:D) and then just a ball joint to fit... from euro-parts (masters of f**k-ups) so swaped them over, get the car back on its wheels and go to drive and here a bit of resitance, thought it was just...
brought me mrs her first car th other day, its only a 106 but had alloys on and it needed some work doing so id come to take th wheels off and the studs wher uber stiff, in the end 2 of them actually snapped they wer that coroded, anyway, so im left with two half studs stuck in now, i am going...
so im having do replace ball joint and do me brakes at the same time, before i give time to doing it just a couple of questions,
1.) is the ball joint rivetted in like on the ren 19's or is it a couple on bolts?
2.) is the brake caliper piston a push back one or one of them nobby twist back...
anyone know the best, cheapest place to get just ONE, really need one as b33fy123 off here ripped me off with a buckled one, best price so far is £140. enless anyone has one for sale?

well mine recentlly has got really loud.
at least i think its the heat shield thats fell down abit but its really noisey between 4k to 5k then goes off again?

already put picks up of new splitter but now iv got my super turismos on brought of beefy on the cs market place, shame on of the wheels is buckled and it said they wernt in the item discription so having to buy a new wheel but here is the pics anyway!

can this be added or does it have to be fitted from the factory, i know the controls are on the steering wheel but i could mount them somewhere else if i brought the buttons, does it need be programmed into that control box which can only be written to once?

when i got my 172 it didnt have a splitter. so renault wanted my house as payment for one, the CF ones are nice but my brother is a CF fabrictor so will make me one when i eventually get round to seeing him. but in the mean while i took the advise of people on here but the 307 splitter had gone...
looking for some new bulbs for my 172,
wanna replace the indicators cos they look gay!
and the horible yellow sidelight bulb which is also main beem.

just had my clio on the weigh bridge with sub and amp etc and come to 1120kg without me in.. is that high?
anyway i did a rs tuner performance analyser and it came back with 136bhp at the wheels which, tbh suck c**k.
it also had 25bhp of drag???
now its running pannel filter, matched inlets...
so everyone is clear, this can be the list so we know who is doing what
so the list should be as follows:

i have a problem with the idler pulley on the aux belt side, this is part of the aux belt kit, renault did the five year service last year replacing the both belts as stated in the invoice. did not say anything of the belt "KITS"

got a wurring sqeaking rotational noise and its pissing me off.
cambelt kit only done last year so i take it to renault and they say it will cost me 150 quid for them to find the problem, then if it is the water pump, anouther 500 quid!!! but if its the cambelt then its free! but these guys are...
as above, sounds like its comeing from one of the belts! had the cam belt kit fitted by renault last march. a local renault specialist said it soulds like a belt tentioner, or the water pump! sounds like a washing mashine noise lol?
any ideas?

done the remapping, but the performance analiser wont work, jus does a flat line right along the bottom of the chart. here is what i do,:
turn key
hit connect
start engine
enter wieght and click start pa
get to third gear and boot it
then relise thottle at near rev limiter

ok so jus got me rs tuner and read all the s**t about it then went to get the
rst file and cal file and im a bit confused, i have currently got the 6400 software so i simply put the cal file on for the 6400 software, this made it alot better than before, but now i am wondering what is the point...

as above, in serious need of help as late at night getting tired, engine in bits. we have taken the plenem off etc and jus removed the top engine mount but i bit of the ali cambelt cover is over the top of the inlet mani, and the altonator bracket is in front, how the feck do i get this manifold...
ok so iv jus gave renualt a call to book in for the bonnet check and thought il ask him about the service history, now as some people on here know iv been told over and over again to get my cam belt done as soon as! (mainly ben172). so today im just about buy all the parts and renault tell me...
as above the head unit gets aload of distortion on both radio and cd/usb.
its only when i turn right fast or sharp im not sure which it is but after that i have to turn the stereo off till the next day or somthing coz its unbarable. any help?
