they are for old cars that use points ignition they replace the contact breaker with electronic

thats true in some cases but they handle more sparks per second, and better voltage threw th plugs leading to a better spark and a better burn,

ok so what do you plan on changing in a completely ecu controlled ignition system?s

ecu wiring or coilpack?

they dont make a coilpack for renault fitment and theres nothing else to change

that was what i was asking, see i told my bro that the ecu had it built in but he jus thought it might not be, or he might have been on about the coils and egnition lead? but that answered my question. cheers buddy

stock Coilpack and leads are excellent quality. I wouldn't try to use anything else really
