seem to see a few people talking to others about putting bigger engines in, do they take suspension, and more importantly brake upgrades into this? i.e 2.0 into 1.2s etc just wondering what thoughts were on this is all, as it looks like people are all about "go" power rather than "slow" power?

no idea, mine is a mk1 and my mates mk2 is smooth as anything, so maybe just the cable or something, but as you prob have warranty i would get it checked out by the garage

i have a mk1 172 and they had an option for xenons, mine doesnt have them tho, only the high intensity bulbs, thought it was the same for the mk2s , an option!

i have had this just lately, also this morning it took a couple of pumps for them to work, surely this isnt normal for 172s?

my 01 172 has it drivers side only, still getting used to it as my golf had one touch both sides and total closure!!!! Ah well what the french lack in comfort they make up in speed!
