Any idea what I could use to remove this cloudiness on the chrome trim of a 2001 BMW 5 series?
I've tried the usual stuff such as Meguiars Metal Polish, Brasso, Metal T-Cut and nothing will budge it.
My mate is selling his mk4 R32, a very tidy example and looked after meticulously. Also comes with the private plate...

Been to see this '02 reg Monaco 172 today as it seemed fairly cheap at...
If its fibreglass damage give Mike Harris at Westgate Classics a call. He's based in Aldridge, Birmingham and has 40 years experience in fibreglass work. He was a hell of a lot cheaper than anyone else when my mate had some repair work done to a rear clam on his elise. The quality of his work is...
I could be up for this depending on where and when? Got into road cycling a fair bit at uni and its always a good crack going out with a group of you. Not to mention how it helps with the slipstreaming
Thanks for the comments all. I don't know if its me but all of a sudden I'm noticing a lot of Elise's/ Exige's on the road, absolutely loving them!
No paint bubbling as far as I could tell Matt, we went very carefully and only used a light abrasive cut as didn't want to risk too much heat and...
Finally got round to giving my Clio 200 a good clean yesterday. I didn't think it needed machine polishing just yet, having been looked after very well by its previous owner (I think RussZS has worked on it in the past). So just the usual wash with 2BM (Megs shampoo plus), and AG HD Wax applied...
Cheers Luke, to be honest it doesn't feel quite as quick as the trophy, I guess its just a lot more refined and a heavier car. But it definitely handles as well if not better! The mk3 interior is a much better place to be in, more spacious etc.
Rich, it was the colour that really sold it to...
So, about a month ago I sold the Trophy, it went to a member on here so I'm sure it will be looked after well. Was originally looking at getting something abit more economical but when this 60 plate storm grey 200 cup came onto pistonheads, and it was local, I just couldn't resist it... Cup...
This is a mates 2011 VW Golf 2.0 TDI GT. Paid just over £22,000 for it less than 18 months ago. No marks whatsoever condition wise. Extras it has include the 18" Vancouver alloys, 6CD changer/ bluetooth stereo system and detachable tow bar. Due to a change in work circumstances and no longer...
Anyone tried this, intrigued as to how it works, but seems a bit of a gimmick looking at the price?

According to those over on cliotrophy.net the struts only work poorly in cold weather, something to do with the pressures within the struts/ oil? My boot hardly stays open on its own at the moment, but it has been fine at other times.
Looking at ordering a macbook pro 13" this week, does anyone know if it's worth holding out until friday for apple's 'Black Friday' and will the discount be any better than the higher education price, £859 for the 2.4ghz model...
