However i'm not saying the 680i's aren't decent boards... I suppose it all just comes tdown to preference and what you're used to. However there's no denying that unless you need SLI that the Intel chipsets are currently the superior choice when building a new system. :)
This is what I was referring to, I remember hearing a lot about it http://forums.nvidia.com/lofiversion/index.php?t23677.html
Personally i haven't used a 780i, I just wouldn;'t use anything that didn't accept the new Penrynys.
Come ot think of it, I just wouldn't buy an Nvidia motherboard...
It may have been decent for you, but they are known for not being great quad clockers, and they aren't upgradeable to the new Penryn. Not a great choice for a current purchase imo. :)
Nvidia have a new 780i chipset that clocks better and accepts the new Penryns, this ASUS model is good...
Ok here we go...
Q6600 G0 Stepping
Good choice, they overclock very well.
EVGA 680i Nvidia
Bad choice... they don't overclock quad CPU's very well at all! Added to this, they are not aompatible with the new Penryn CPU's just released fomr Intel. They are dead ducks as far as futurer...
Cool, just done a check and Greenlight insurance don't raise the premium for lowering, intakes or exhaust modification, they just charge a £25 administraiton charge. Handy to know. :)
Heh brawly I did exactly the same this weekend, just went for a randome drive... good thing is my artea in West Sussex ha a lot of open twisty backroads with not many people about and I gave it a good blast down there! WOuld be interested to see my 0-60 figures if I can find some way of...
Ok cool that'sd what I wanted to hear... does the price at K-Tec include fitting or if not how much extra do places usually charge to do them? Can any local garage fit them easily?
How much harsher is the ride with Eibach Sportlines vs standard cup suspension on a FF 182? Specically i'm talking about ride harshness, NOT handling (which I know improves). :)

A CD still needs some good processing to sound decent, that's why there's such as big variance inquality on many units. It's a lot easier to focus on external sources and SD's.
Yup that's completely stock! Bear in mind it is on a bit of a slant though so maybe exagerrated a bit.
In general how much does lowering cost including labour... and how much do you think would be a good amoun, 30mm or so? Does the handling greatly improve too?
Just used some Meguiers this morning and I think it's come up quite nicely... it was by no means a deep and thorough polish, I just needed a quickie to get it pic-worthy.

So no cup packs, illegally tinted windows... I can see why it's not selling for 9l mate, it's just not that appealing and I can't see anyone snapping it up!
In my opinion any mods you get done to a car should largely be written off cost-wise... they are the owners choice and I weouldn't expect...
I didn't mean drop it to 7k, I was just using it as a comparison! How tinted are the front two windows, beyond 30%? And does it have the cup packs or not?
I think it's obviously priced too highly. You can get a mint low-mileage '04 plate 182 for £7'000... so while yours may be a bir rarer with some mods I don't think it warrrants the extra. Also it looks like the front windows are tinted... even the windscreen? That's illegal and I can't see...

The music quality should be fine... there's no CD so it's all digital or coming form other sources. SHouldn't be a problem. :)
