2nd one looks more like it from what I can tell.
Go into renault and ask for the part number for fog light bracket for a dynamique. I'd imagine thats what you'd need. Unless somebody on here can provide you with it
yep, break the clip and its a new part from renault job, cos i bet if u go to any scrapyards, that part has either already been taken, or its broken ;)
always best to sand it down.
Just start from scratch again, that way you cant go wrong, as long as you've sanded it down well enough, you'll be fine!
Dont rush it though, I did and I made a mess!
4300k will show a more white light, whereas 6000k will have a more blue tint to it.
6000k is pretty much what u get for a ph2 172 as standard.
I'd personally go for 4300k, but thats just me.
You can also get 3000k but that'd be too bright i think
I'm sooooooo glad you've posted these pictures up- its what i'm in the process of doing! Same colours - i think it looks good mate
I was starting to think about doing the wheels - now i know to :D
Just seen this on ebay, not advertising the sale or anything, just shocked at the sheer state of the car!

ah, i did the inside of the wheels, so i'm not too fussed, it came out quite nice after ITR and EGP, quite happy with the results, wouldnt use it on the frnts of the wheels tho :D
I've just done mine
I used degreaser first, then wacked some wonder wheels on, gave it a fair few goings over with multiple brillo pads, and more wonder wheels, washed off, AG clean wheels, agitate, then wash off, then got the ITR on it, which got rid of loads of little black spots that wudnt...
i was told to leave fresh paint at least a week before polishing dude
I'd go over it with a clay bar, then u've got a gd base to start onthen u can just carry on with the polish, egp and wax.
I'll show u how to do the clay, u show me the EGP ;)
I'm struggling to get CV Boots for my car,
its a 2002 Renault Clio Sport (Reg: YD 02 ZHH)
Was wondering if anyone had a part number for these at all, went to a local motor place that i usually deal with, and i was provided with the wrong ones, and they cant track down the ones i need...
I used wonder wheels today, and that stuff is gd
I did 2 wheels, took a while (and alot of degreaser due to CV grease on the inside rim), alot of brillo pads and water, but i got them pretty damn clean (not brand new, but enough to tell they've been done and so i've got a platform to work...
i had 2 years NCB and got quoted 700 quid on a 172, at the age of 20, so 4NCB should breeze it, depending on other circumstances obviously
As for the fuel, i think the 172 is very good on fuel, considering engine size and such like, much much much better than my previous car 1.8 20V Seat leon...
