i took mine off, but it seems where the clip slots in on the door has broke, so now when i put it back on, it flaps about :(
The clips on the bullet are fine though, just the one on the door.
Anyone any suggestions? araldite? :D
Not too sure if this is in the right bit or not...
but basically, a friend of mine did the tracking on my mk2 ph2 172 earlier today, and it was bang on, but kept pulling to the right, so he took the steering wheel off, which led to a couple of issues;

Re: someph-ing different...........
the interior is a thing of beauty!
Engine bay and badges not so keen on, but as said, its a personal choice, so its all good.
The car on the whole is testament to your hard work! Keep it up dude
i'm having my tyres fitted and balanced today for £20 at Selecta Tyre.
I'm not bothering with tracking there, its going into my mate at Audi for that :D
mines got 2 torx screws at the back of it, nearer the rear seats.
Undo them, torx 20 i think, and then it just pulls up over the handbrake.
Good to take off, looooads of crap gets in that gap and cant be hoovered without taking it off lol
i think they all need to be on boot lid, that way, u can just press the cover on.
If its a mixture, you'll have to try sliding the circle bits onto their brackets, as well as trying to push the other ones in place (if that makes sense lol)
Jaffa,
what would be required in order for it to be done, if it was to be done through you? (if you wanted to do it again)
Would you need all the switches sending to you etc, or is it a leave the car with you type job?
Just out of interest, reallly like the look of it :D
painted ones look fine i think, personally.
If its only aesthetics your wanting, then go for painting your calipers, buying willwoods for a 1.2 just wouldnt make financial sense, the standard calipers are gd enough
rather than continually yank at it, hold it in the middle and give it a firm sharp pull up and towards you, i had a similair problem, but found that to work
Hi guys,
Is there a difference between the rear seatbelts in a 172ff and a cup?
I was due to buy one, but turns out the one I was going to buy didnt have a purple cable running from it, whereas the one I removed from my car did.
Would this be a problem if i was to put a cup seatbelt in...
Hi Guys,
Code Reader my 172 earlier, and got a fault, i think the code was P0136?
Anyway, checked the book and it said some sort of problem with an oxygen sensor, cleared the code, and its come back.
Could anyone give me any indication at all where the problem may be?
I know I'm being a...
AG Paint Renovator?
Thats all I really know of. You could clay it, apply that, polish it, seal it and put a gd wax over the top (if thats the correct place for it to be done, i'm sure someone can correct if wrong?)

After reading the clearkote red moose, i'm tempted to lean towards that.

Would anyone recommend using this as a glaze?
I've been told its got swirl removal properties, so thinking of using it before waxing my car.
Anyone know how i'd go about applying it? Mainly interested in peoples opinions on the product though :)
