it allways rusts towards the bottom, i can tell you why... when lowering the torsion bar... twatting it in with a hammer.... sometimes can miss and clip the body work, lifts the paint and rusts :( i clipped the edge of mine when lowering it! will looks pot on when its done mate. did you...

well, my mk1 seems to be very creaky at the back right, the torsion bar has been lowered and ever since when someone sits on the rear of the boot or stands on it the back right area creaks like hell, does it and can hear inside the car too... sounds like rubber. maybe the bushes? or a fubared...
