I think Ive only seen one in the past 6 months? Either that, or Im in the wrong place, at the wrong time? ;)
There must be a few around Bury/Rochdale/Blackburn area???

The black 225 up front couldnt have been trying this morning, joining the M66. Apart from the initial turbo uptake, we kept the same distance apart...
I thought a 225 would have trounced a 182???
D.
Pointless trivia really, but how much were Willys brand new? How did they compare in price to other similar cars (if there ever were such things then?)
Cheers,
D.
At the Rawtenstall turnoff, M66. It was parked right outside the front door tonight. No CS stickers that I could see - had a bit of rust over the drivers side rear arch (not that I looked at it too much!)
L-plater....

... going past Blackburn Hospital on Haslingden Road. Flashed him, but got no response.
They look strangely beefier than normal 182s. Looked very good.

I dont know if the warm weather is making it worse, but in the past few days Ive heard a really loud creaking noise when the steering is on full lock.
I notice it most turning into our lane, which is a tight left-hand turn - definite 1st gear job.
Time to do a forum search methinks...
Spotted on the opposite side of the M61 - roughly around junc. 7 heading Bolton way.
We were coming up the M61, back up towards the M65. Would have been around 4.45pm....

Approx 5pm. At the lights where you can turn into Mercedes & Rapid Fit. I was stuck in traffic on the other side in a 320 Beemer. Couldnt see any CS stickers when I was rubber-necking though (nearly went into the arse-end of the truck in front whilst looking!)

Im lazy - I know and cant be bothered reading the manual, but......
Whats that little button thing for underneath the passenger-side wing mirror. I only noticed it this weekend while washing it. The drivers mirror hasnt got one?
D.
Went past you on the M65 - I think you pulled off at Junction 4, eastbound. Didnt get a proper look at it as the Beemer I was driving at the time was tramlining like buggery. Felt a little dangerous to be honest. :o
Would have been about 2.50pm this afternoon.....

Just been to Asda now and as per usual, Ive parked in some distant corner to avoid the muppets with the trolleys. Got back to my car, fired it up and was just putting the seatbelt on when a new-shape Micra pulled up alongside my door.
Two blokes were in it and the driver asked if I spoke...
We picked up my wifes 182 on Saturday and as we set off, the doors automatically locked. I thought this was a new feature of the 05 plate cars until I was told how to do it on mine.
Set the auto lock today and it works fine. Quite chuffed in a bizarre way . Just shows you that it...
Well, in a matter of hours today, the wife has bagged-off her :@ demonic :@ Mini Cooper S and a racing blue 182 is ready for her to pick up 9.30am on Saturday.....
Maybe Ill be able to splice the two together and get a 4.0litre Clio 364!

Driving back from Tescos just now, I thought I caught glimpse of some spinners on a car. I slowed down and as I approached this junction, some bloke who looked like a cross between Pete Waterman and Les Battersby was behind the wheel of a red Corolla.
Not just any red Corolla mind, this one...
Went the opposite way from me near Tescos in Blackburn on Friday. I wish Id learnt to drive in one of those instead of a H-plate Nova. ;)
Note to all 172 modders. Billboards on the roof dont look good....
D.
Spotted a Cup near the lights at Heap Bridge, Bury. Just passing a drain-cleaning truck that was blocking the traffic. Plate ended in KVD, iirc.
Was it you?
D.
Who was it that asked if I went onto the forum outside my house on Saturday afternoon? You drove a Meggy 225 but never said what your forum name was?
Cheers,
D.
I was heading from Ashton-side, at the major set of lights on Ashton Moss, heading towards Crowhill. You were at the lights, coming up from the town centre/Sainsburys direction. I was about to let onto you when another bloody Clio pulled up alongside you and blocked my view! :)
Anyone on here...
Just tidying out the crap from my PCs and came across these pics from about a year ago. A m8 of mine pressed the right-pedal a bit too much and the stupid auto box went into kick-down....... on a bend.
Ouch.....

Just had a look at the vid clip on FastDrive.org (do a search under Lotus 340R on Track) and its sheer class came back to me. What a bloody great car that is.
That exhaust note sounds even better from the drivers seat..... :D

Just before the Edgworth turn-off. Flashed you and you acknowledged (hoo-rah!). Just as I was about to loose faith in RS Clio owners.....
Let onto a silver 172 to this dinnertime as well. The expression on the drivers face as she went past was an amalgamation of "whos the f**ks that?" and...
Youre a braver person than I am - parking amongst the numpties near the entrance. Strictly reserved for the elderly and the TWDGAS Drivers (those who dont give a sh*t). Check your door for dings, when you get back!
