Check that a bee hasnt got caught in there first!
Then unclip it and check the cabling, could be a loose connection (cant really think of anything else)
I saw it with my own eyes, Wanted to change but he made me leave - He was pissed at the time though otherwise would usually be no chance of me driving it! - Surprising though he has recently sold it and bought a TVR Cerbera 4.5, as he said it didn;t have enough raw factor
She wasnt going for it in that Aston because she is a pussy. Trust! My brother made me floor it in his Vanquish (the non-S version) and said to me that the car would change gear by itself you left it long enough and we got to 90mph in 1st, she was bollox she was changed at 60into first..
mate you should check out the home page, it has all the 0-60 figures etc.. I went from a Cup to a mk1 172 and prefer the drive much more.. Each to there own though, You need to test drive both. Would either go for a mk1 172 or a Cup as the mk2 172 is nothing like these two.. IMO...
Can I just check then, You guys are going to be going to the TROUT pub after meeting up yeah? and where is PEARTREE services? (is it the services off Wolvercote roundabout?)
What are you having done, What power increase will you get and how much mate? Have spoken to andy in the past - he certainly nows what he is talking about!
Where abouts do you live mate, Is it near London - If so I can sought something out for you no probs, People who dont bother paying insurance piss me right off!
If I were you I would find a mate with a pick tuck / Recovery to come and tow her car away to your chosen location! She will never find it, specially if you burn the f**ker or sell it for scrap..
And then she will be gutted that she had no f***ing insurance
SORRY guys these people really...
The price to supply and fit a fully modified cylinder head and Kent fast road cams is around £1900.00 and will take the power up to around 200 BHP. To supply and fit throttle bodies is £2950.00 - this will give 30-40 BHP. The throttle bodies are supplied with a fully programmable ECU which can...
Have had this reply from Prima - Thoughts please:

If you guys are still on about Meeting at the Trout then I will go. Can pretend to be taking the bird out for diner then, and accidentally bump into you lot, hehe - Am supposed to be spending quality time with her from Wednesday to Sunday in my house in Burford.
Yeah it is just past the Redlion and the oxford hotel hehe I was there last weekend and will be there from the 10th to the 12th too, so may come along if you guys have a meet around that time. I have a house in Milton-under-wychwood if that counts for me to come, hardly every go there though..
mmm I think I will have to just test drive one of Turbo conversions and see as you guys say..
Will also have a test drive in an EVO, But will have to be bloody amazing for me to get one,as the image they carry with them in Central London is of Young yuppies and I dont fancy that image
Are they any better than the Subaru - And then I still have the problem of it looking like a beast meaning loads of vandalism etc to the car. Need to keep a small car for central London really mate, so suppose tvr is def. out of the question too.
I would ideally like a nissan 350Z as I think they would be great fun to drive - But I simply cant afford one. Suppose I could look at getting a TVR Chimaera or something of that ilk. But then you have the reliability issue of a TVR let alone a TVR from like 1998/99
The BB Turbo conversion costs around 4.5K for the job, which includes a Brake upgrade, I think they said it runs at 0.9bar for 270bhp, But I think they will actually be setting the kit up to run at 250bhp, Which will still be fun eh!
^^^ agreed, and def. needed in the city!
I am still waiting for a price, But apparently Prima can get 240bhp from Throttle body conversion, Head work and Cams so will see how much this is too..
