I need an airbox and have seen 182 boxes/Ph2 172 advertised but they look very different? What can I get away with buying? Oh its going into a Mk1 btw.

I know its not particularly near but city powder coaters in Brum do a full set for £80 and I can highly recomend them!

The tyres are toyo t1r's but only have about 2-3mm left on them, needs 4 new tyres really! And I don't have a clue what make the wheels are!

Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project Wont those studs start to slip after a few wheel changes if those gripper bits start to shear off? and therefore it will be come impossible to tighten wheel nuts?

Yep, fit staight on with a couple of washers to centralise the calliper over the discs! Need at least 15mm spacers on most 15" wheels though! Oh and bigger discs from a mk2 172/182.
