I need an airbox and have seen 182 boxes/Ph2 172 advertised but they look very different?
What can I get away with buying?
Oh its going into a Mk1 btw.
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
ah ok, that makes so much more sense to me now!! so you are literally just cutting off the 172 connector and adding the mk1 connector so it can plug to the rest of the car! I dotn know what i was so confused about before! :o
Why are some of your wires open...
These came on my car when I bought it but have now swapped for williams wheels and these need to go as they are taking up garage space!
How there were when I got them:
And this is them off the car , the polished part of them has started to get cloudy bits under the lacquer and will...
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
Wont those studs start to slip after a few wheel changes if those gripper bits start to shear off? and therefore it will be come impossible to tighten wheel nuts?
Re: Mk1 Hybrid rebuild
any idea on what the brake pedal travel is like with those brembos? Im debating picking up a 172 master cylinder and servo fro mine.

How much you got? ;)

After a lot of hard work I decided to just send them off to be done professionally after all! :dead:
So I got them done in silver:
I havnt got any proper pics of them on the car yet yet but here is some from the door of my garage that I took today:
Points to anyone who spots...
Yes, it's another Mk1 16v (maybe F4R/172) Project!
Right so I bought this car about 15 months ago, for the first year didnt really do anything to it apart from a few new parts etc. Then I decided I wanted to change it around a bit! I will let the pics do a bit of talking!
How I bought the...
