Looks good the moment you clean them and put tyre shine on but ye, after 5 mins theyre not so good! Very tempted to do it tho till I have decided on some alloys that would suit it better and be lighter! Will wait to see if anyone can give me a photoshop when they get time over the week, if not...
Could someone photoshop these wheels gloss black please? Wondering wether to keep them if black looks good or go for something different. Dunno which pic is easiest to use. Thanks in advance.
spoiler got ripped off it so in the process of going back on. Thinking of some bbs alloys, dont really wanna lower it as its just a pain for speed bumps etc. Deffinately getting a new pulley and probably get it re-mapped aswell but dont know anywhere good in scotland. anyone recommend anywhere?
Bought the car about 3 months ago after selling my 1.2 clio. Was wanting a clio sport but got a good deal with this cooper s so picked this up instead. Only 18 so insurance is still killing me but work hard for it so suppose its worth the money. Here's a few pics, thinking about powdercoating...
Nah no reason just need new ones and have a wee bit spare cash so thought i might be able to find something a bit better, the new ones are good but just wondering if there was anything better to be had.
I just bought 4 sheets of both wet n dry paper (already got some more if needed but), 3 large cans of paint, 3 large cans of primer n 2 large cans of laquer from halfords to do mine this weekend. Was only £57.
The ride is harder and bumpier, but its not too bad atall. I drive mine everyday and dont notice it anymore. It'll obviously be a bit harsher than standard setup but its nowhere near as bad as going -60mm.
alright bud just seen this now! That was me, lost a centre cap but found them all now, got them back on. Yeah that was g-sums with the black wheels. Where about you from?
If you can get flat ones from tesco and your wanting them i've got a big tesco 24 I can get them from and send you them for a quid or whatever it'll cost.
I've got a 3/4 height normal width number plate. Kept the standard one on the back. Been pulled a few times off the police and they've never said anything. Oh and also its not been for my driving i've been pulled, just the police around my bit are extra paranoid about car thiefs etc!
Cheers for all the help bud. Car idles very low, just over 500rpm and has cut out a few times when been stopped at lights. When on the rolling road you could smell the cat so think it could be blocked, i'll give it a blast down the motorway aswell though. Its alright from cold and I think the...
Cheers for the help guys. I'll let yous know whats said when I get it checked on monday. Personally I think there must be more than 30.6bhp going to the wheels but i'm just going off the figures the rolling road gave out. Can rolling roads be set up to read figures unnacurately? Might sound a...
Apparently it is mate as the timing is slipping, i've got my cambelt booked for monday aswell as my cousins pal has taken the day off work and is looking at my car for the whole day so should hopefully fix it. Is it a common problem if the cat gets clogged up? The boy who did my rolling road...
It is slow mate, its horrible! Has anyone else had a 1.2 on a rolling road? What power did it put out? Think there's any main problem I should be looking at apart from a good service or is it hard to tell until the diagnostics is done? Cheers.
