if i were to have it done id go to ktec after, and buy a quaife diff. i think it would be fun! thing is, for 7k or so, and value of clio, you could go buy a decentish evo 7!!
i was just going to suggest a split air con condenser seal.... but i think ill just let you refer to the hand book in future
thanks for telling us your story though :P
yeah i skim read it to quick..
well i can assure you they wont pay for a new engine. they will supply you a new cambelt kit most likely. If say renault acutally done the work at the dealership, then they would have to rectify it.
its a ph1 172, whats mileage and age unless im being stupid and someones already typed this. becuase your cars going to be circa 5 years old, and the belt isnt going to last till 72k. i just had mine done at 36k and it was knackered. lucky i done it. a tensioner was shagged.
want to swap them wheels for some rs1 wheels :p
nah thats lovely though, well like that. think i saw it at french car show, very very nice. id like some turini's on mine.
15.8 aint gonna happen from a 1.6 clio with rear seat removal. 110bhp = phase 2 weight = i dont think so. a receipt scanned in (not someone elses) would prove better evidence.
cant say i would have a cup over a 197.. lol. handling comments on 197 have been better than 172/182. just not quite as raw.all cars are going to grow up, it cant be helped.
Prob lack of servo assistance tbh, I find all renaults brakes work with little effort. I drove a golf plus other day, brakes were pants on that aswell. I think renaults brakes rule in mass market cars.
Fords brakes are normally shite. I have owned a Zetec S before, so same brakes, and didnt rate em. Very good handling cars! Mine done me very proud. You just gotta make sure if you buy a 1.7 its been serviced, because zetecs dont run well if abused, and also its vvt so drinks a little bit more...
I had a 182 then a ibiza fr (though a 1.9 tdi not 1.8 - I found the handling awful), so due to the boring engine i got a ctr (much better but lasted 3k before a valve flattened and cost 2700 under warranty to repair), needed cash so sold for a rs1. Dont regret it one bit. Has been having bits...
