With regards to the steering wheel, i'm all for the oem look and my car had a snappy re-trimmed wheel when I bought it, but i'm agreed that it is just too big @oVerboost. , I've still got it however and will never sell it........ I went for the 330mm Sparco however, wasn't sure at the time if...
Agreed as well  I like the fact they match the car, but if the '2.0' or 'Renault Sport' (depending on your preference) matches the colour of the wheels, that will look perfect!
Oh I know what you mean about the wheels, to be honest if you can keep hold of the Turini's, you have the two best looking sets of wheels for these cars to pick and choose and change as you please  Will look forward to more photos!
Don't know how I managed to miss this thread, saw the 2118 pics on facebook so it's good to see some more info and spec etc. Looks a stunning example this, any interior/engine bay photos?
I was thinking the Turini's would be hard to beat, but tbh yes the anthracite 2118's look awesome
Cheers mate! It's all about the angles as I always say! I can take a decent photo, but i'm still limited with what I can do with the compact - even tho it's a Panasonic Lumix and a great bit of kit, it doesn't allow the shutter delays etc that the big boy cameras do, hence mine always...
Nicely done with the centre console on the Storm, yet again, its the small details that count!
How trim generally, but especially in places like that, get so battered to need replacing is beyond me
Great update Mark, loving the more artistic photos you're tinkering with now, I've tried a bit of light painting with a friend in the past, hard to get great results but love the moving shots with the camera mount, especially the first one
Two great buys there, the Megane looks fantastic but I really like that phase 1, I too saw the detailing photos on facebook and thought it looks great then! Re the Turini's and lowering, absolutely! Love an exclusive but not the wheels and nothing that can't easily be put back
Will look even better with the front wheels pushed out a bit more, no doubt, but you thought anymore on the backs to get them the same or are they ok as they are do you think?
Great stuff, will have to have a look at that magazine when in the shops
Re. the seat covers, did you get them on eBay? I only ask as a few years back I purchased some 'tailor fitting' seat covers for the red Recaro seats in my old 30th anniversary EP3 Type-R, i'm sure they had a Type-R...
Ahh ok maybe its the photo making it look more like the wheels than they are then, from here looks a good colour match!
Good idea though, especially with the Renault Sport wording - if you can get them looking the same colour, will look great!
Exactly right mate, having the new gear gaiter at least makes it look a tiny bit more subtle - a result actually as one of the clips are broken on my current one (standard clio issue!!), this being the one nearest the handbrake and it is stuck down with hidden tape to try and stop it lifting up...
The ride height looks absolutely spot on now!! Love how that is sitting................... bullets, ummmm to be honest they don't look bad at all there, got any other pics at different angles?
That probably answers the question.......... keep the Cup but go more hardcore with it now you have another daily, allowing that to be the fast fun car and the phase 1 can stay nice and original
Thursday night
Yes defo get what you mean Mark, but thought i'd see what all the fuss is about with them. Not the most oem looking mod that's true but don't plan anything else like that, the rest can stay oem+
Hard one that, I was going to join the party here and also say sell the Cup to fund the phase 1, to get it back to full minty freshness..... but it's so clean and totally original, you can't modify it... much! That's my thought anyway, so if you sold the Cup and then wanted to heavily mod the...
I know what you mean there, the sudden and heavy snow fall we had here Tuesday caused chaos in the local area but I noticed the gritter hadn't been out!! Was strange, went up to Norwich same day as we had the snow and nothing was laying there, total opposite!
