They look awesome!! Cracking finish there, it's well worth it for the powder coating isn't it. I paid £192 inc. VAT for my 4 Turini's to be done and that was with tyres off......... you made the right choice with the colour, will be VERY interested to see what they look like on mate
Didn't notice a huge difference but maybe a little more responsive yes, crazy how all that crap builds up......... sourcing a spare engine cover for colour testing purposes is defo on the list!
If its the catch tank that cures it that'll be an absolute result as they are cheap as chips in comparison to forged.
Forged on the other hand if it happens = awesomeness.
Thanks mate, it's getting there, on the road to minty freshness
@T9 0LLE is a good old boy your right, that's the thing with these cars and on here, fellow owners happy to help!
Not at all bud, I agree! Wasn't sure whether it would be a ball ache to do or not so wimped out and left it...
Been a good day on the car today with both the freshly powder coated upper inlet and fuel rail guard being fitted. @T9 0LLE was on top form and did all the work for me, top man! Needless to say, the difference is night and day. Makes me think "why didn't I do it sooner?" !!
With the engine...
😂😂
Don't mention a bag of haribo, that might seal the deal!
Joking aside, really hope it turns out to be ok when you have another go, you've come a long way with this through all the issues, can't be another surely!!
Cheers  I know what you mean there, it's been in my mind to do this since I got the car but 18 months later, it's now the next thing to do on the road to minty freshness
So after nearly two weeks, (not 7-10 days like they said!), I finally have the upper inlet and fuel rail guard back after being powder coated silver. I must admit, it was well worth the wait  they've come out very well and a nice fresh silver which is what I wanted!
I think it's safe to...
Nice one! I've had all that recently with the heater playing up on mine, was stuck on full heat AND full speed. A new genuine resister sorted the speed so can be adjusted again now, and doesn't APPEAR to be blowing solid heat so ignorance is bliss there 😂
Satisfying getting it done...
Love that, so retro looking, but fits in perfectly with the age of the car
I've had a few stereos like most of us but the one I've always loved is the Alpine I bought in 2007 for £250! Just CD and radio with steering wheel control compatibility, no usb, no aux bla bla, although you can...
That's great Andy, really pleased to hear it wasn't too bad in the end and not that expensive either! Gutting about the cat, still crazes me how a MAIN DEALER can miss such things!
True that! But not for long, long run etc!
I must be getting old, mine was just under £300 fully comp in June, BUT.... only me on there and it's a admiral multi car that gives a decent discount as my daily is on the policy too. That looks a lengthy job on the rear seat Mark but well worth it, I couldn't handle having a glued and broken...
