SNAP! Took the Renault and Sport badges off mine at the weekend, and broke almost every letter on Renault, but the sport badge came off in one piece. Looks much cleaner now, and far more discreet.....shame Ill have to get the bleedin boot resprayed just to lose the Clio one!
But arent you missing the point - just cuz its "Group N" it doesnt necessarily mean itll drive well on the road....its not designed for that purpose!! For all you know it could turn a well mannered 172/Cup into a dog to drive on public roads.
I must say, the Dare V2s in 18s look great on the K-Tec car but almost definitely fcuk the handling up...17s would be much better.
So are they 7x17" and whats the offset?
Spoke to Renault UK about my 2002 import 172 yesterday and they said they will convert it from a 2 year pan-European warranty to a 3 year warranty on receipt of the necessary paperwork. They did however mention that the car then has to be serviced at the correct intervals by a Renault dealer...

I seem to remember someone on here, possibly Sangy, had one of these fitted to their Mk2 172. If so, could you possibly post a reply and let me know what sort of power/torque increases you got and how the car feels/performs on the road, plus any other pros/cons. A contact name/nos for the guys...
Well, I was a sceptic, but I took the plunge and fitted some Eibach Pro springs to my Mk2 172 and have never looked back! They are superb!
Ride is firm, but actually better than the std Renault setup, in my opinion. Handling is very good as std, but the Eibachs take it that little bit further...
Ive got one on my Mk2 172 - consists of a Ramair foam cone filter, heatshield, silicon induction hose, plus ducting. Sounds awesome and took 5 mins to fit!
Need to get the car back on BB Tunings RR, but Jas broke em!
