Seriously what were they thinking? Jesus its hard get your arm down to grab the dipstick, but what’s worse than that is checking...let alone topping up your break fluid.
I had the remove the engine cover, see the brake fluid is hidden low which made checking...

Cheers guys.
Will have a look under the car at the weekend and see what sort of condition the exhaust mounts are in. dont think the exhaust is in brilliant condition anyway. signs of rust around the silencer, so might be new exhaust time im 6months anyway
ive just been scouring the net trying to proove you 2 wrong...i stand corrected. the only 5pot golf engine was the v5. lol
edit - after reading further thats the confusion cleared up by the post above. they were 20v engines but 4pots with 5valves per cylinder as stated above.
ill shutup now...
The golf mk5 is 200bhp/280nm torque or 230bhp/300nm torque if the gti edition 30. Both are 2.0 5cylinder turbo engines.
The GTI 30 would prob pull on you in every scenario as standard especially once moving due to the extra torque. All's it would take is a remap and i would imagine both would...
coil pack or lambda sensor.
you either need to buy a code reader or take it to a garage and get them to read the fault.
if you have aa cover they can plug their computer in and read the code for u then you can replace the parts yourself to save money.
The first post of this thread looks very much like a marketing ploy to me. It's his first post and hes posted some cheesy little thing at the bottom about what a great insurance co they are.
Freshly Cleaned/Clayed/Polished Clio 182 Pics
Hi,
Thought it was about time i posted a few pics of my 182, ive had her for 3 weeks now and ive finally had a full day free (well an afternoon) to give the car a good bath.
Today i used some cheap Halfords shampoo complete with hose pipe sprayer...
are you sure its not the strut top's knocking? common fault on the RS Clio's.
Yozzasport do a set of washers which were fitted to the Clio V6 to stop the knocking. By all accounts a cheap and easy fix

Seems these 182's are stopping in the club. :D
I bought Dan's FF 182 of him approx 3 weeks ago, and now Dan has bought Lee's Trophy off him today.
The Trophy looks great Lee and i imagine Dan is VERY happy with his purchase :)
the service light is not for that.
the service light only lights when there is a fault on the car. there is no light which comes on when your car is due a service.
the reason your serv light is on is because there is a fault somewere
wouldnt have been me then i dont think. Was prob a little before 3.
Cant remember putting my hand up to anyone lol although i did see a silver 182 as i drove into stafford.
been a few cases of this recently. Read on a few forums of poor wear on eagle f1s.
shame as theyre generally a good tyre with a very good rep. dont know if maybe theres been a bad batch released in recent months
last time i had some from national, yes it was oil from a big tank but the invoice/tank said it was magnatec so not really a cheap oil as such.
Certainly no gripes for the money paid.
Thats just a scam through and through, theyll want you to pay for the car via paypal and they will tell you they will ship it in the country.
Youll never see the car or your money.
Just for the record, imo 6k is a little low for a 182 although £6500 and you should be in business.
I bought my...
