just had the car up on axle stands and had a goosey at whats loose turns out its the bolt right above where the center section goes to the back boxes. its a rite b*****d get to as its right above one of the exhaust pipes. looks like a nut which will fit in a 10mm spanner will do just the job...

possibly. have a look at the top of your windscreen behind the rear view mirror and see if you can see a black square with a senor in it. if you do, youll more than likely have auto headlights

yeah standard exhaust system. Car is an 04 plate so out of warrenty, tbh i think a couple of larger washers all being well will hold it in place. ill get the car on stands tommorow and have a look and see which bits loose.

As per title, just picked up my 182, the seller made me aware of the heatshield rattling. It doesnt appear to be the one above the silencer. Any suggestions on which other sections have a habbit of rattling? Or are they all as bad as each other? lol.

your not the only one whos bought a 182 today. ive bought an artic blue with cup suspension pack but not the spoiler pack. Would have been nice to have, but im not overly bothered had to snap the car up as it was mint :)

just an update, i received the bulbs from ebay this morning and they are in exactly the same packaging as the ones i bought from halfords for my old clio. look legit to me tbh

im popping up yozzasport one night next week for some rear disks and pads so will ask then while im there:)

Very tempted with the samco hose, unfortunately with only just shelling out for a 182 and a couple of other bits and bobs moneys tight atm. Typical for it to come up at the wrong time, would look well in the engine bay of an artic 182

reason for 182 prices dropping in my opinion is that the cup varients of the 197 are now out that people have been longing for. Yeah, cant fault the deal or high levels of service im getting from dan :) If not mate, dont worry about the light washers. Will give me something to do one...

ive just sold my focus st170, picking my clio 182 on sat. pretty sure ill have no regrets as i have owned a clio before...all be it a 1.2, but ill let you know in a couple of weeks. at the min...cant wait to pick the new motor up!

Yeah, if im not on holiday for FCS this year then i see no reason why they cant meet each other lol. Unfortunately the last 2 years FCS has ended up being at a time when ive booked a hol. cant wait for sat, im counting down the hours. :D

further update, put a deposit down on the above car. AA inspection taking place tommorow, all being well i will collect next sat. :D

i hid my crossovers under the dash as well, also mounted the tweeters in the origional factory location

tbh i think the introduction of the 197 cup has had a dramatic effect on 182 prices. you only have to read the forums to see alot of people were waiting for the 197 cup. didnt realise you had a pc mark. if your free one weekend might well take you up on that.

cup spolier/splitter cant be added easily in the future if i want it though. easier than upgrading the suspension. some people might prefere to have a more subtle spoiler than the cup spoiler to be fair

^ yeah, the car only has the cup suspension pack, doesnt have the cup spoiler pack as you can see. The wiper is no prob, will do that one day when im bored.

ahhh...ive already got super resin polish, extra gloss protection and meguiars gold class shampoo. Sorry, i thought they were going to be some fancy brand thats rare as rocking horse ****
