Any parts that you suggest being good? What would the 4 channel amp power? The components and the sub or would i need another amp for the sub?
Thanks for your help so far.
I was thinking of getting the Kappas and tweeters OR components.
Not entirely sure on my budget, as I havent really planned it though that well so far, just trying to get some ideas together for it. I would be buying bits for it one bit at a time, because of the flow of money.
I listen...
Ok thanks for the advice. Have you got links to any decent components there please?
I was going to replace the OE rear speakers instead of putting speakers in the parcel shelf, less inviting to thiefs.
I was looking at these tweeters for the top of the dash...
Alright guys,
I have finally sorted a few things out with my car, after my car got broken into, and now think its time to upgrade the sound Im getting from my car. I currently have a Alpine headunit and Sony 6x9s that were in the car when i bought it. I would like to change the front speakers...
Just put your seatbelt on, you never know when you may need it, however short the distance. I put mine on even if Im moving my car from one part of the drive to another, because it feels wrong without it.
As Deeg said to get your insurance down you will need either a CAT 2 Thatcham approved immoboliser or a CAT 1 Thatcham approved alarm. The alarm will get you most money off but, depends on your age.
I was told that if I was to have a CAT 1 alarm then it wouldnt take my insurance down by much...
If you hold one of the sides down then dont let it go till all of the sticker is placed on the window, then you should have a good job.
I got a hairdryer on an extension lead, all the way to my car.
You should have put it on at the meet. It would probably have been warm enough.
The small ones are easy enough to put on, not had the experience with the large stickers.
Good to meet you yesterday.
Well done mate!
Im not sure about the Pass Plus I did some research as to whether it would be worth while doing it a couple of months back now when I passed my test. I found that the insurance companies took off about the same amount that it would cost to take the pass plus, so I decided...
Even though youve fixed it at work, its not the point people should be more respectful of other peoples property.
Glad you got it sorted quickly though.
Damn right, kinda worried me though. I currently have one door without a lock and then my drivers door open, Directly onto the road. Oh well, Ill learn from my mistake :p
