Mines with a Ktec/janspeed box on as well. I've got a feeling the exhaust heat shield doesn't help matters too much as it's a bit saggy at the moment. Have a look at yours as it might be vibrating and not helping matters.
Mine does that at a certain rev range, once it goes past that it's back to normal again but a more aggressive noise. It's at about 2,500 rpm to 3,000 rpm.
Hi Tom,
Mother in law took to it a garage this morning just to check it out, they've just overriden it on the diagnostics. Shouldn't come on again hopefully.
Cheers
Evening all.
Emissions warning light came on tonight after a short spirited drive, I think I need a new lambda sensor. Just to mention the cars de-catted as well.
Exhausts are not really a strong point of mine so I do apologize for sounding like a useless tw*t.
Does this mess with the fueling...

Re: Newbie From Coventry!
Looks good Dayle. Even though I've only ever owned sports, I still look at the owners of the non sports and see what they're up to. Great stuff!
Price wise the ph2 172 does not compare to a ph1 - in other words an average ph1 would go for more than an average ph2.
Ph1 would more be in the bracket range of a FF182 imo.
Great read Reedy, sounds like a very neglected car has gone to a very good owner.
Always good to read these turnaround threads. Well done on the work, keep it up!
