    Light flashing fast is a key recognition error. In other words, it needs a new key. Assuming that it still has all the necessary immobiliser components present.

    Inlet valve failure. The car has been on ITB's before, so it's lived a much harder life than most, and the inlet valve had fatigued enough to fail.

    The LSD doesn't always make noise when it's worn to the point where it's not locking as much as it should. Easy to test. Put the car on stands at the front - either wheels off or centre caps off the wheels so you can get at the hub nut. Put the gearbox in neutral. Use a beam torque...

    I'm based in Glastonbury, you're best option is to get it recovered up here. If you have full cover with the aa/RAC You have the option to take it to a garage of your choice.

    Coolant going and overheating at low speeds

    An mot tester can only check for what they're meant to. They aren't actually allowed to remove the lid from the oil cap ;) You're more than welcome to drop it down here and I can give it the going over.
