isnt that 45bhp up on standard? if the cars around 700kg it will have about 260bhp per tonne. 1/4 in low 13's easily. Dare i say this would be quicker than a similar specced 172?

185bhp from itbs is good. the 2.0 zetec is around 140bhp i think. 35bhp from itbs is very good.

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project thats wrong mate, a standard valver wieght is 1000kg and 137bhp, so thats 13.7 for very 100kg 1hp for every 7.29kg, so your gain 1hp for every 7.29kg you lose, you would need to lose 218kg for 30bhp gain. 130kg is worth 17bhp/ton.

I should have mentioned, that is a previous owners effort, it leaves massive holes and so it has to stay until the boot is replaced (not desperate but will do it when one comes up) And i should be at brands :)
