It's got no headlight washers and has the height adjusment by the cruise control switch. Got cornering lights though.

Are they taking enough money off the 197 though? They can always give you a high part ex price and a high purchase price or vice versa.

I didn't have any problems with the sunroof on mine during the 2 yrs. Mine was same age with 15k more and it sold for 9k last oct. This doesn't have Xenons plus don't think recaros were on the option list till the R27 came out IIRC.

The ginetta really was heavily modded. lol Guessing there was no frame damage as I assumed it made the last race?

Was about to ask the same. Looks like a dealer fit JCW kit from the pics. The wheels and brakes don't look like the MINI JCW items.

I remember the lack of drain hole cover. Also remember on the way back to calais and big pothole + big stone flying at windscreen = new windscreen at 30days old.:o I remember jay had and another vee had trouble getting out of the dieppe car park without scraping the bumper and skirt.

I think I saw a 06 197 on RS the other day for just over £8k. Mine went for 9k in the end so not far from your budget.

Definately HK plates in the vid. Most are two letters followed by numbers.

What is wrong with it exactly? Mine was very thin on paint on few places including the front bumper and mirrors. Didn't want to have resprayed parts so left it. I could see the black plastic underneath as it was so thin. Same colour as yours aswell.

The paradas wasn't too bad in the wet as long as you know their limit. Could feel the understeer though which meant some lift off fun in the 197.
