If she's been given a courtesy car then it sounds like she's gone through her insurance company, your insurance company wouldn't normally ask to see her car. It'd be her insurance company that would foot the bill then claim it all back from her.

I'd personally try a mates coil pack and/or leads first, then plugs and I'd be confident it'd sort the problem. If it's still there then look at injectors
To be honest I doubt a clip will tell you what exactly is at fault, it will diagnose a misfire but that could be caused by the coil pack, leads or plugs
Well I went and got a one from a newer shape car but it turns out they're bigger and a slightly different shape. Went to Renault in the end and ordered a new pack of clips for a massiv 72p
I would but for the sake of the hassle I'd rather get one from a local breakers but it'll make it easier if I knew which models had them. I agree I want to keep the side strips off mine
I have a mk2 ph1 and the exterior rear side strip keeps coming off. The clips have snapped and doesn't stay on too well so I went and got a one from a mk2 ph2 which looks the same. Anyway I fitted it but it's a different shape to the front one so I now know they're different.

I've been to look at a few clios this week, all 1.2 16v Mk2 Ph2. Anyway I noticed that both of them looked a bit dodgy. When I took the oil cap off there was a very slight amount of water on the oil and in the expansion bottle there appeared to be oil sitting in the bottom, about 1cm deep...
I couldn't even get over the first bump, had to get the bloke that worked there to move the barriers and let me drive along the path to avoid the bumps
Something like a speedline turini may look similar. If it were me though I'd do something a bit different on a mk3, how about a set of deep dish wheels. I know it's nothing new but I haven't seen a mk3 in that style before
