Couldnt use a mac daily like to play games too much. Oh and i also like to be able to right click.
Rather than piddling about with all the extra buttons.
Fear is really dependant on the graphics card. What settings have you got your antialiasing and anisotropic filtering at?
If you got it at like 6x and 16x dont expect to get 1600x1200 out of the game or 1280x960 and it still run smooth.
and since you got the pop up.
Ad aware and spybot search & destroy get them both install them update them and run them will clean all the crap out of your system that you will have gotten on it whilst browsing.
I would go with a 7800GT or GTX if you can stretch to it. £250 - £450 depending on specs of individual cars.
4400+ or higher depending on budget but the 4400+ is the best in terms of price to performance. Around £350 - £700
2gb of ram as its starting to get needed now preferable good stuff...
Id say go dual core myself its getting adopted rather quickly. Most of the next games coming out all support it. And he want to do some encoding the dual core would be the best option for encoding things.
How much you wanting to spend?
And the newer AMD slot wont be anything faster really when it first comes out just adding ddr2 memory which isnt gonna make that much of a difference.
It will be more futureproof but i dont think it'll really make much difference.
Theres never really an ideal...
You using windows built in writer?
If so dump it get nero or something similar its bloody awful the one that comes with windows.
Likes to throw errors up etc.
When you say hers is unrealiable whats the problem. Might just not be properly maintained and in need of a format to fix it if its just crashing occasionally etc.
I must be one of the only people who doesnt mind the glide touch at all. Find it really easy to use without looking at the unit etc.
But still prefer the current 9855 over the newer ones apart from the 9965 but thats got a ridiculous price.
Least more of them have dvd playback now though.
They give out invites like crazy theres just no point when i first got it i had 1 or 2 invites now theres 100 on my account and i got rid of loads always says 100.
You on windows XP?
If so probably XP being stupid try installing the game using the compatability mode. Then runnign it with the compatability mode.
If that dont work its kinda tough really. Some older games just refuse to run under XP.
OEM just means you have to buy it with a main hardware component such as motherboard or processor. Software is the same though.
And vista hmmm. It'll be buggy slow and a piece of crap for at least a year. Just like XP was. Wait just like XP still is!
172 is insurance group 16.
And at 20 depending on your NCB and where you live £2000 is probably gonna be about minimum on your own policy more than likely a lot more im 22 and got quoted £3000 on a 172 with a years no claims.
Id change the graphics card for an nvidia one or change the mobo for an ATI one. just means if you do fancy adding in a 2nd card makes it easier. Heard of issues running dual ati cards on nforce4 chipsets. They just dont work that often.
Looks loads better.
But how about tinting the red brake light black might blend in a bit more then and would still be very visible if its only a thin layer.
Just think it might look nicer with it being a black car.
Always the same with new systems :/
Vista is more than likely gonna be god awful with all the security crap rumoured ot be going into it.
Still think windows 2000pro was the best of the recent systems.
Is it a free to air sub?
I know a lot of people mount them like you do cause they look pretty but im sure there not all free air subs. so actually putting it in the box might make it sound a lot better.
Yeah my printer is fairly new driver was fine to get hold of. Since nearly all my hardware is brand new just released i dont have an issue with anything why it was an ok upgrade for me.
its ok for some things but mainly marketted at graphics designers and modellers etc. Which are some of the only people who will take advantage of the extra memory support on a workstation.
games do seem to be quicker under it though an HL2 has better view distance etc. As there is a 64bit...
I've got it in my car great headunit made a massive difference to sound quality over the original headunit. dink has one as well i think.

Not a renault no more but you get the idea of seeing the unit.
I find XP64 is fine not a problem with drivers etc. Everything on mine works exactly as it does on XP32 as i dual boot between them. Only found 1 thing so far i couldnt get running on XP64.
but i got 5190 3dmarks in 06.
Thats on a 4400+
7800GTX 512 version
2gb ram
They also built some rather more fun cars the lotus carlton, VXR, sell the monaro which is just a holden but get my point they do and did have some rather meaty sporty cars. the last model astra GSI was pretty rapid aswell 2 litre turbo if i remember correctly on that and all.
Not a big fan of...
