    Wind deflectors

So true. If they had genuine benefits over and above the practicality issues of ramming a piece of plastic into your doorframe window recess which may or may not then proceed to scratch your windows...we'd see them on lots more cars other than the usual suspects. But we don't. They're not some...

    Buying used iPhones?

It's for an 11 year old so I'm thinking the plus might be a bit too big? Colour? Storage? Genuine interest here if it works for her.

Thanks. This is what I thought/hoped. I'll buy from an established limited company, unless... You has iPhone?

    Buying used iPhones?

I need to get hold of an iPhone, 6 or onwards, for as little money as possible. I've seen many retailers selling 'pristine' phones for circa £150-£200 which works for me. Before I jump in and risk getting burned...does anyone have any first-hand experience or recommendations of where I should...

    What Trolley Jack

For light domestic use I'd look at SGS Engineering. The one I have is still faultless after 6 years.

    CSF 2019 Picture Thread

The facts are simply; On phone during circuit safety briefing = total instant cnut We had it at Llandow once, an Evo driver who clearly thought he knew it all then later in the day showed everyone that he really didn't. Cnut.

How worn can semi slicks go before you shouldn't use on track?

Me too but I think I lack the balls to go quite that far!

    Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019

I haven't been for a good few years, I'm more into the Revival and Member's meeting, the F0S just has too many people desperatre to get a selfie while stood next to a Chiron. I've managed to blag a Friday invite from a supplier this year...and knowing I've not so much as paid a bean for it, I...

    Go pro mounting

I've got the Hague headrest strut mount which works flawlessly, has done for 15 years now, but as the seat moves a little when you're hammering it on track you ideally need something with some inbuilt stabilisation to compensate for that movement. For an alternative, and without needing to...

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

That's not bonkers at all IMO. It's simply free motoring...with a possible big upside at some point in the future. That's what I was aiming for when I ordered my RS LOL

    Getting clio 182 track ready

Fill it with fuel, grab helmet, and go. That's all you need to do. Until you've done that you do not know what needs replacing, fine tuning, or improving.

    BMW e92 330i

I don't think, disasters aside, I'll be getting rid of mine any time soon. There's just something about RWD that's clicked with me. Love it.

    MarkCup's BMW M140i

All criticism is welcome (y) After the lap time comparison that'll follow the final session from this day then I'll be done. Honsetly, a big part of the reason for it is that it keeps poking the RS community and that generates views as they all pile in to leave the BMW crowd insults. I do...

    MarkCup's BMW M140i

The brakes held up just fine at Goodwood in the end although I've now got ATE Typ200 fluid in it. The first couple of sessions were a bit, meh, but in this one I really started leaning on it but as a 1 series, not as a Focus. It delivered.

EBC Yellowstuff- my 3 years experience

My experience is the same as @JB21 , they wear really quickly, I took a set down to the backing plates during one Goodwood day, 125 miles in total was all I had from them. But, accepting that faster rate of wear, I think they're great pads. I had a consistent pedal feel, the material doesn't...

    I kicked a Skyline's ass part 2

I've done Brands Indy quite a few times and found it the complete opposite...congested! I'm sure on a Renaultsport day I went to there they capped it at 40 cars on track at once. To put that into perspective, running with the same traffic density at Goodwood but on Brands Indy would see the...

    I kicked a Skyline's ass part 2

That's fair enough. I've just checked, Brands GP, like Goodwood, is 2.4 miles long. Do they let more than 10 cars on track at a time on the GP circuit? That's all they do at Goodwood and that's a huge reason why I love the place. It's almost like private hire.
