I went to a kenfig cruise before and it was massive, its good down there as the police block off the industrial estate and let people get on with it, although it wasnt my scene as such there was silly amounts of cars there and some really impressive stuff, not all chavs haha

hi guys, i have had a search but the results were regarding cup springs.
due to using the same bolt spacing etc, are the 172 (non cup) standard springs the same as a standard 182 (non cup pack suspension) the same?

my mates was doing the same, the rocker cover gasket is a pretty expensive job, he took each rocker cover bolt out one by one and put some instant silicone stuff on the bolts and then tightened it all up
hasnt leaked since, bit of a bodge but itll get you until belt change most probably
by rolled edges are you referring to the ends of the boxes ?
i think i can see what you mean, the OPs boxes seem to have a rolled type lip and the below pic is just straight cut so to speak

been looking on here and found that -1.5degree of camber is recommended for road use
so im four minutes out on the right and 18 out on the left lol not 'too' bad
