Maybe compared to what you are used to, but the sensation of speed is much greater than any car I have ever driven before. I dont find my car to be "slow" but its certainly not "fast" either.

I put them racelands on my 1.2, the ride is truly horrendous but they do go nice and low. i did it for the same reason as you though, cheapness.

Interesting... They seem to have disappeared, not even KTec seem to be selling their knock-off racelands.

I would try and argue the case for the MX5 but tbh its not worth it, the clio is a better car for going to europe and carrying tools. The MX5 is good for close to home trackdays where all you want is a couple of spare wheels and a few tools.

Turbo MX5? Best of both worlds?

DS2500's? Why? Brembo OEM pads are perfect for road use.
