I notice you are a noob and don't currently have a Clio, so if you are new to them then I'd advise you have a search on here for a 'Buyers guide' which will show you how to look it over properly and check the common areas.
Providing it all checks out and a is a good base, I wouldn't let it put...
306 1.6 XR was my first car at 17. I thought it was nippy enough compared to what my friends drove until I bought a GTi6 and then went back to driving the 1.6 for the last time. My word the thing was slow to wind up. Could change a CD whilst the revs rose for the following gear.
That's typical! I do have a black set kicking around, I just CBA to refurb and fit tyres to them when I can probably find a half decent set of silver ones kicking around ready to chuck straight on.
Saying that - now the winter has gone I can probably keep the TD 1.2s clean. It's just they are...
Not all harnesses will wrap around a cage bar. Ensure you buy ones that will if that's what you intend to do.
I've only got a harness bar on the drivers side of the cage, so added a clip buckle to the harness by threading it though - I had that option.
Plate wise, I bought mine from JJC as...
I've put an Odyssey 25 battery under the seat on my 205.
I've added a BMW junction box in the engine bay with the handy jumping point.
I overlooked fuses, so I'm looking for advice. I've seen mention that they aren't necessary, but wouldn't hurt to add one.
Was in maplins earlier and found...
Where did you have the engine work done, Hamlins?
If you ever get in a pickle spare wise, don't hesitate to give me a shout on the off chance as I have loads of odds and ends and would be happy to help if I can if something trivial trips you up on a Sunday evening for example.
Powervamp do a cheaper copy, but Powervamp admit the specs are lower than the PC680.
Whip it out and see if the person who fitted it peeled off the installation date stickers. Odyssey batteries do have the build month/year written on the top so it's worth looking to see how old it is.
Does anyone have any recommendations for online retailers to produce hydraulic hoses for oil coolers?
I've found a company on eBay who will sell a 75cm hose with swaged ends for a shade under £16ea which isn't bad (if they are half decent).
Certainly blows the local firm I visited out the...
Very interesting. I shall take a pic of the mount later on and if you could compare it to yours and identity it as the genuine one then that would be brilliant.
Cheers @levaz for your efforts. Does your work/company sell them at a better rate than Halfords?

I shall scour some more Chinese auctions and see if I can identify where this one came from as...
I've borrowed what is believed to be a genuine go pro roll bar mount to test out in my car to ensure it has the flexibility to do what I wanted.
It does, so I've gone to look at buying one and I'm now wondering whether it was actually genuine after all. It's got a soft lining between the two...
Putting that particular example a side because the lack of history, for the benefits of negotiation and what should be received as reasonable offer wise on a vehicle you are interested in, an £1800 advertised car- I'd be expecting to pay £1500 so would probably bid 14, stating a reason for a few...
The main reason is probably the fact it's now so easy for a dozen people to mail/text a seller whilst having a shite in the hope that they can either get 60% off by chancing their arm, or entertain themselves by playing message ping pong.
A genuine caller will usually call, or at least start...
VW part number is 00073900.
What size are the wheels in yours @Steven_K
I use 15s so wonder if they are stretchy enough to not stay baggy with 50 profile 15s in.
