Nice, not sure on the f7p, my old converted mk1 Ph3 was pretty nippy, not sure what it'll be like in the ph2 shell.
I'll be keeping a eye on this.
Bought a few bits for this to hopefully make it a bit lighter still.
Manual windows, manual mirrors, base spec dash top. All to be fitted at some point in the future.

Yeah i know, once the winters over i'll be getting the snow tyres back in the garage and getting some Pe2's all round on some matching wheels.

My task for Sat was to fit a set of balljoints that have been needing replaced since i bought chav, the other less important job was to fit a set of lowering springs as it had go so high that the shocks didn't have any travel up the way and were effectively...

Thats what i said! But he's usually right about mechanics etc, so thought i'd ask Cs.
Is there any reason to not remove the tar from the roof from a stripped 1*2?
My boss seems to think that it adds some rigidity to the panel, but i cant see that being true.
I'd like to remove it as i've removed the rest of the tar, but there seems to be some people saying "yes you can" and...
