Thats just asking for trouble, i'd leave well alone. No point trying to rush it on for something to break and have no car to take up.
Just leave it till after. Not like it'll give it much more than a few bhp.

Yup thats how the ports are meant to look.
You can have the top and bottom inlet matched to the gasket size, usually about 130-140 exchange (iirc)
Or free if you fancy giving it ago.
I think this can only go one way. It's already split, all you'd have to do is start selling some bits on. It was at one point your pride and joy but i think you're not in love as you once were with it.
It would be a real shame to let it go but if you dont have enough time to build it will you...

Top lad. Enjoy it for what it is and safe for better. I spent far far to much turboing my Mk1 for it to never run right, broke down then got broken into. I wish i'd saved the cash and just bought a better car.

Good to see some restraint being shown and not just throwing money at stupid mods but also thinking about the insurance as well. Congrats fella, cars looking well too. Eibachs should bring it down a bit (around 20-30mm iirc) but should make it look loads...

Sounds a good plan that. It was her daily whilst pregnant and then family hack from then on so mines couldn't be that low. Was a nice height all the same.

Infact thats a lie! I had Fk Ak's on the golf. I had ordered the Joms but they had ran out so sent me some Fk's. Probably the same but i had yellow springs instead of blue

I had them on the Gf's old mk4. Rode suprisingly well, really. I left the adjuster in the rear with the helper springs still in on the front, ran them about 3/4's down and it was low enough for us.
