Every day I use a Windows PC (which, is every day) I thank the sweet lord for my Mac.
Basically, the Gaming PC I have has decided it doesn't want to boot up now. I get the "Welcome" screen for a long time then just a black screen with a curser. Nothing works at all, no key presses, no mouse...
The GT86 has a similar thing, handily the dust cover for one of the ciggy lighters is the perfect size to plug it up for long journeys. Not sure if that was intentional or not...
I feel really bad for the guy, people found his facebook and its all delusional s**t. Then I saw he was a Nickleback fan, clearly has something wrong with him so maybe we should lay off...
That makes sense! I've made money on 1 console in my life, and that was selling a Wii a year after getting it. I sold it for £100 more than I bought it for, as the Christmas after it was launched there was a big stock shortage. The year before people didn't quite "Get" it I think so preordering...
So My current setup:
Nintendo: SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii
Sega: MegaDrive(1), Saturn, Dreamcast
Sony: PS1(UK), PS1 (Japan), PS3, PS4
Xbox: Xbox 360, Xbox One
Handheld: GameBoy Colour, Gamboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP
Stuff I've sold over the years or lost, still need to replace...
My Mrs was stood freezing her tits off in the Market in Milton Keynes today as I was haggling for that Saturn! They'll probably never understand haha...
I also look back and think "f**k, I remember selling all those at a car boot!" or my Dad, being the way he is, just chucking a load of it! A...
Nothing too special no! I tend to just buy stuff I've ever had and its been sold over time, or stuff I want to play or interests me. The Saturn is a console I've never owned for example and its always interested me as a bit of an oddity.
I guess the japanese stuff is pretty rare over here!
Indeed, it makes eBay a bit of a minefield with prices tbh. The MegaDrive I got pretty cheap with original box, the SNES I got this week with a lot of stuff cheap. I'm guessing you were tagged because you're in the same sad-act boat as me? I'm lucky to have an understanding Mrs lol.
Oh god, this is sad. Really, really sad. I've basically found myself collecting old games/consoles from when I was a kid or ones I missed out on. It kinda started when I found my old Dreamcast and N64 in the Garage and used it to plug a gap in my TV set up. I'm now at the point where I've sort...
It was a proper laugh, need to get more time on track!
Yup, I think within weeks of these going on sale there were several kits ready! It's very common. Cosworth are the best UK suppliers of a kit, they do a couple of options. Had a look at a few cars at a meet the other week. Bit out of my...
I am pretty poor at updating these. It's probably because the car is still standard, and probably will stay that way for some time. I'm just enjoying it for what it is! On Sunday, I booked a couple of sessions on track at the PH Sunday Service.
The car has had a set of Kuhmo KU39's on it...
Epic engine. My friends Corvette used to shake sodding houses by the time he'd finished removing various silencers from underneith!
