Previous issues failing various MOT's for corrosion but didn't respond to requests to supply pics of inner arches and jack points when I asked. Maybe they just couldn't be bothered though, might not be an issue anymore.
I forgot to put the block connector back on the throttle body under the induction bend and mine did something similar. Started it and jumped immediately to a steady 4000rpm if it's the fbw throttle body you might want to check it's plugged in properly.
For the span between ball joint centres I get 1360mm on my old wishbones and knackered bushes but I will double check once I get the new wishbones and bushes fitted.
I've got mine off so I can paint it just now so I can measure up for you. Do you just want measurement hole centre to centre across the subframe on front and rear bush mount points?
Thanks guys, I was priced nearly £45 for 4 brake hanger bolts so don't wan't to be paying silly money for a set of wishbone bolts as the other three looked mint when they came off. Any of you guys got an idea of a part number or price these usually go for at all ?
I was giving the front end a freshen up with some paint, undercoat and new bushes
Then one of the wishbone bolts refused to let go, seized in the old bush I guess
Has anyone managed to save the bolt in this situation or do I just need to cut it out and source some new ones ??
Any advise...
Anyone heard anything good or bad about these rods? They look well made from descent process and material for the money, as good as Ktec forged rods anyway.

Thanks Chip-mk1, with OE internals on the clio do you know if it would be better to go to the way out to the 4 layer 1.6 mm end of the scale or stay conservative with .75mm Cometic??
Hi Cup_Phil sorry if this is crashin your thread a bit but I am fitting a low pressure kit next week and thought a few of the members posting on here might be able to answer a question for me/us???

Looking at this as my cam belt just went. Does anyone on here have prior knowledge of this car, has it been owned by anyone on here?
Any info appreciated.
Cheers,
Dave.
Not sure if this is the correct way but if it's a rear one I bought a cheepo gas torch from B&Q put the disk on flat surface ABS ring side up, held the new ring with a pair of insulated pliers and put a good bit of heat into it to make it expand. Then just put it on level and made sure it was...
Ask this guy, he seems to to breaking the lot at the moment. I asked him for stuff that wasn't listed and he has it so PM him with what you need.

No harm in asking ;)
I cranked the two torx head bolts down at the front of the engine cover too much and this was enough to create a leak by breaking the seal between the gasket and intake manifold this had the effect that you describe on mine. Slackened them off a bit and problem solved but was a head scratcher...
Getting the disc off is easier than you think, did mine recently as I was fed up pay for someone else to do it badly. Just chap the dust cap off the centre of the disc to get to the 30mm nut holding it to the stub. You will need a long bar as it's on very tight and maybe need a little heat with...
