Wouldn't having just the harness bar like that be hugely dangerous? If you get a strong enough impact to bend the chassis, won't the belts just rip through you, or force you against the seat to the point of crushing you? With no cage to stiffen the inside (or to attach that to), that looks...

Amazed they passed the MOT tbh (whenever it was last), as mine were no where near as bad as that and still failed!

I'd argue the wireless shutter release are more useful - stops you pulling on the wire and moving the camera (would only do it slightly, but enough to cause issues if you're in a long exposure).
