    As above, the hub spacing is different on the 182 Cup. The 182 shares the same hubs as the rest of the 172/182 range

    VOSA expect there to be as little as 10kg of pressure on the rear brakes. If there was no effort, then you'd have very knackered rear discs. What you have done is taken out the one safety device on the rear brakes, this could cause you to lock the rears.

    You've overtightened it. It only needs nipping up, it shouldn't vibrate. OP - When you do the gearbox mount, I tapped mine down over the gearbox spindle using a socket.

    I agree with Danny, I've got all three solid and the car doesn't vibrate. One bit of plastic around the window does at idle but that is all.

    We've got an Octavia Estate coming at some point to replace the Astra, it was ordered in January! Think that they are perfect family cars. Can't see what'll come after the Clio, can't bring myself to face the possible bills that something more special may bring. Guess I'm a tight northerner!
