Agreed... I love my Cup. I've added some trick bits, the Sabelt & the PMS shifter, but in standard form with 888s it's a cracker.

Buy a 172 Cup, Change the brake fluid & fit uprated front pads, Check condition of struts replace in pairs as necessary, check condition of springs, Change all bushes for new Renault items, Hunter alignment. Tuition, Tuition, Tuition, Done.

@ADS1982 Have you tried swapping the filter back?

I don't think I supported the gearbox as the dog bone is in place, Remove battery, remove two bolts securing mount and then remove spindle nut. Place the new mount over the spindle and push down, you may need to tap it down with a large socket. Do up until tight

Full suspension refresh, ds2500s, belts and dephaser by Dan @ SJM, 98k, MOT until August. Front bumper damaged, rear bumper has lacquer peel and body isn't the best imho. Would be sold with Turini's rather than F1s. What's it worth?

I guess it depends on the issue, parts will fail on performance cars - it could be just bad timing
