Just enjoying the drives out for the hell of it. Facelift 220 in the local dealer has me looking around it.

2 wheel type options, French Car Show
Passenger laps in this, epic
A year today I made the 566 mile round trip to trade in my Mk4 Clio Media Nav diesel for the Liquid Yellow Clio 200 EDC. In the week leading up to the deal I'd been on the phone to the salesman working out the finance numbers, I then took the punt to drive to Vospers in Plymouth to view it, test...
It's been an amazing thread to read so far, I can't imagine how happy you are to finally have the chance to give it a shakedown and drive it in anger! Can't wait to see how this goes.
I'm glad you've had a go in a car with paddles Mark, how you describe the drive is pretty much on par with the 200 EDC in Sport Mode. It holds the gears much higher, sharper/responsive gear changes and blips the throttle on down shifts.
It's an auto in letting it do all the changes in everyday...
I'll be honest the wheel IMO won't want spacing out that much, the rears are already close to the arch edge more so than the fronts. The rears maybe 5-10mm, fronts 10mm maybe 15mm max.
Again, based on my findings just lowering on Cooksports makes a difference by filling the arches and giving...
I've done the trip a few times always taking the E40 through Brussels, it's only when you get past that bit hitting the E42 towards Spa you kind of see some scenery. This time I went south a bit more first then headed east below the E40. I came of the E42 much earlier to sample a more scenic...
Just come back from a 4 day driving break through France, Belgium and Germany. Spent Friday night in accommodation near Spa, Belgium and 2 nights in Adenau near the Nurburgring. It was ten years ago to the weekend that a few friends and I made our first ever trip to the Green Hell so we decided...
Thanks for all the positive comments it's highly appreciated. Now I know they work i can trigger the next stage of changes to the Clio, not many but enough to make a difference.
Also, this is the company that machined the wheels for me. It's a small company but busy, very accommodating...
Haha!! So maybe a 2 tone black and LY spoiler, was even thinking of painting the Turinis black after seeing the pictures last night. It would colour match everything else.
Very lucky, I put a cheeky Facebook shout out to see if any of my friends knew a place local. A mate who runs his own mechanics business put me onto them as he uses them too so jobs a gooden.
Usually it's £15 if you have tyres mounted already that need taking off and disposing of.
Yeah the top wing is obviously right across then drops down each side. The original has to come off to make way for a narrower one to tuck in between the top spoiler part.
Are they not 2 piece? Either way an exact copy.
Tyres are Yokohama ADO8s with 6ishmm tread, I'll think I'll do the Nurburgring trip on the OE wheels.
Now I know the wheels 100% I can now move onto the next stage
