I've got the Wii and 360 versions. I've played it a little on the 360 and really enjoyed it. It's quite similar to Brian Lara, which funnily enough was written by the guys I work with, and published by Codies, now we all work for them!
To be fair, I am a little behind with some of the voice over script. lol
It was never going to be 2009 on PS3/360/PC, they were always a 2010 release.
I can't really say much, but for those comparing it to DiRT and GRID, it uses the same engine, but it's a totally different team working on...
Next gen could kill off a lot of developers. The cost involved in producing the assets for a current gen title is often beyond the money they make back if the title flops. The lack of certain features or reduced quality visuals in games are more often down to the cost attributed to achieving...
I'll grab my copy after lunch and check it out later. I've not played it for months, and it changed massively towards the end of development.

For every one of you that moans, there's someone who doesn't. They'll play the odds game. Which works out cheaper...
Same here. I'm calling it research!
I'm away all weekend from the 23rd, so I'll have to wait a few days before I can sit down and give it a good hammering.
I'd say that has a lot to do with it. People are driving cars these days with certain areas that aren't well suited to average daily life. A seat which is slightly track biased is never going to be ideal for the daily commute, it's always going to be a compromise in some way.
And all those cars have seats with sides as high as a set of Recaros?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with them. Look at where the wear is, and ask yourself how it's happened, seeing as you don't sit on that area. It's because people are lazy and used to normal flat seats, all they need...
