Dell's XPS range are better than their alienware range IMO, much more subtle and just a nicer product. But I dislike Dell so would never buy one of their laptops.

You are so wrong, they are absolute shite. But so are gaming laptops. If it has to be a laptop buy a top spec macbook pro then at least you have a nice usable pc whilst not gaming.
