I think you will need a 50 AMP fuse, I am no electrician though. My working out is 500w / 12v = 41.6 amps.

I think you will get the O-ring from a trade/DIY place like screwfix. For the fuse what wattage does your amp do? RMS that is.

The blots holding the back seats/seatbelts in go through to the underside of the car, the water is probably getting in via them.
