Got some 182 clear repeaters from Renault, and today when I went to fit them I realised that my cup just has clear bulbs in the amber lenses! So obviously that would be illegal so I have had to abandon that little job until I can get some orange 501 5w bulbs. So the 182 must come with orange...

Part number 8200257684 - clear side repeaters from the 182. Only thing I am annoyed about is that the cup has clear bulbs as it has orange lenses so I have to go find some orange ones or silver ones. But the 182s must use orange as standard and you cant see too much orange through them can you?

Chucked the longer one on the drivers side. The ones that were on there were both 20s. To be fair the 21 gives good clearance, and the passenger one is ok too considering its only 18"

Fair enough. Thing is, the wipers on the clio are LHD, so wonder whether I should put the longer one on the 'passenger' side. Which was built as their drivers side. hmm

Got some from renault in the end. Cost £20.54 for the 2, but to be honest, Ive seen loads of the cheap looking ones go for 13ish quid and always perfer proper genuine parts that will fit perfect, and look nicer IMO than clear clear that need silver bulbs Will update with the part numbers for...

Does anyone know the part number of the clear side repeaters on a clio 182? I want to freshen up my 172 cup with some clear side repeaters but dont want the perfectly clear aftermarket affairs. A rough price also would be handy. I have searched.. :cool:

If they are like that as standard then it makes me feel a bit better! Just a shame when I polish the old girl up and the strips look so dull. Il just live with it I guess

My 172 Cup's side strips look really dull. so much so, that im afraid to try some polish on them incase it leaves them looking patchy and crap where its not a smooth surface. Common problem? Dont really want to fork out to get them sprayed up if theres an easy solution :clown:

Popped one on. with the ET40 they dont catch anywhere, and have 2 fingers gap between the tyre and the shock thats all good. Only Issue I do see, is that the "hub nut?" sticks through the centre of the wheel slightly and I dont have centre caps. I would buy some, but not sure if they will be...

Im going to answer my own question after a change of keywords in the search. The ET40 wheels will sit in my archs more as my Turinis are 38.5? So i lose 3mm track over all?

Just bought a set of wheels for the clio second hand but in a 40 offset. Will I need spacers? I forget if the higher the number sticks out or sticks in more. Should have checked before I bought them really. Can wait until the weekend to see if they fit, but if anyone has been in the same...
