Nah, pretty sure the brakes etc. will swap over between all the ph.2 clios without a problem so long as it's not one of the 2.0 cars.
I still reckon you need a run out in a tuned DCi, there must be someone on the forum up that way.
Being an Ely lad, I know your pain with them tracurs buh...
At some point, I forsee you not liking "the arch gap" etc.
It happens in every build thread
whether its just some springs, or coilovers.
It is unavoidable
it is your destiny
True. 1*2s attract too many chavvy little teens that will set about them with cheap aftermarket parts to try and make them into Never-Seen-A-Track-Cars. All so they can try and get their fingers wet.
As such, finding a good one that hasn't been ruined isn't as easy as it was when these cars were...
Mate, broken down steamrollers are nippy in comparison to a 1.2.
OK, the 1.6 isn't as tragic, but for the tax and fuel increases it will bring, it's not worth it.
1.2 - 14.5 sec - 100 mph - 60 bhp
1.6 - 9.3 secs - 120 mph - 110 bhp
1.5 DCI 100 - 10.3 secs - 115 mph - 100 bhp
1.5 DCI (remap)...
Sounds like good business sense to me. If people pay it, more fool them. If they don't, meh, put up a different advert with a lower price somewhere else.
I'm guessing a forum person once paid the asking price or something, and spent an entire thread having a tearful w**k?
Besides, CS thinks...
You CAN rely on them being driven in a "spirited" fashion, mostly.
IF you DO go looking at a forum members' old car....search for anything they've posted about it on here first. Particularly if it's posts in "road driving stories". The ones that contain zero conception of spelling and grammar...
Red Lodge is our local I guess :)
If we could get enough people on board to make it worthwhile, a full CS team-event at PFI would school.
But if anyone wanted to get 40 people together on here, and money out of them, god speed to you my friend
It looks suspiciously like it wont have had the easiest life, in any case.
Yellow calipers?
Fabia splitter?
any old springs they could find.
Sure, you say you're going to replace springs anyway, but.........nah. If it was my money, I'd rather one that hadn't been around the retailparkring...
I saw there's an outdoor place that looks superb, but it's properly miles away for you essex lot.
I mean, f**k, it's far enough away for me to have to give it more than a seconds thought
GET A LOAD OF THIS FUCKER
This one is actually pretty good too. How about a CS karting & Paintball day!
or...
I'm wondering, that red spring...did they slap a set of lowering springs on there?
when I replaced coils on ol' stripey, the renault ones were black, even a 3rd party, OEM-spec one will be black or maybe blue. Rarely red.
And yes, it wouldn't matter if it was running with Williams F1 active...
Those wheels don't look dark enough to be cup pack (suspension), but the front lip would infer cup pack (cosmetics).
In any case, even if it was a cup when built, by now there wont be too much difference unless it's had a full suspension overhaul. Indeed, I'd imagine it's had 1 damper changed...
no, it needs to over-fuel on the over-run. which you can't do withut having some revs on the board.
In any event, it's not only chavalicious and will mark you out as being a r****d, but it'll also mean you're just asking to get pulled over at any given opportunity. Which you'll then moan about...
TBH, I dont actually know. mine I offloaded at 112k and at that point finding 3rd gear was part arm-work and part divine intervention.
But I'd say to buyon condition rather than mileage. You can find dogs with 30k on them, or minters with interplanetary mileage
yes, there's essentially 1 big difference in the world of 182.
Cloth seats and a dashboard made of old Milk Tray trays
or
1/2 leather and legitimate dashboard materials.
As a daily, 1/2 leather is your way. Also, you get cruise control.
Just get one with belts that are done, and you'll be fine.
Don't get a lowered one, not if you're looking to carry things.
There wasn't an option for heated seats, but the climate control (non-cup cars) will do you fine.
