I personally think my cup drives like a rolls royce compared to my old 16v lol, but then the 16v was on avos.
As Rich-D says, in terms of new car, its firm but no way uncomfortable.
LOL
Here we go again! I see Mitchy is stirring up a nice little pot here!
Being a serious 16v geek having owned one for over 5 years and now having a 172 cup i think i can comment reliabliy on this subject......
People who knew my valver, knew it was a quick one. Standard with only a...
tbh you are better off learning how to drive well on a track before worrying so much about a kg here and kg there.
Any one know what the cup seats weigh?
Hi Ben, long time no hear, i sold the valver and got a Cup and gotta say extremely pleased with it. got it for 8.5K with under 10k on the clock and it flies! Didnt expect to be that quick tbh.
The 182s are coming down in price now so maybe go for one of those, but if your budget is limited...
Well it was dampish taking on a boxter so i gave it some stick in 1st and 2nd and after that just came on.
Boxter got a shock though lol stuck to him like glue.
Will try it CupCake and see if theres anything loose, if not its going in.
Hi guys/girls, just had a orange SERV light come on with a orange symble which looks like baby seat/airbag symble come on in the new cup, anyone know what it is?
Bit of wheel spin and the light came on and is still on.........fook knows why?
Cheers for any help
Aaron
Dont get me wrong, the 16v was certainly fun and i intend in getting a stripped 2.0ltr very soon, i certainly miss the exhaust widely popping and kart handling it had, and the fact you could push it as hard as you could round brands and it would hardly put a foot wrong :) ..
...However for an...
Havent posted in a while as been v.busy but recently sold my 16v for a cup and wanted to say how impressed i am with it so far.
The Cup is an incredable little car with great handling and good straight line speed, i was surprised how nice it feels going from a hardcore stripped 16v to a...
well i want a stripped out 2ltr valver/willy as well so saving the extra few grand will help towards getting a hardcore racer as well as the cup.
You just cant beat a raw 2ltr for its character and its kart handling. Got my van i use in the week so neither will gain any mileage which is good...
yeah you bet i will, thats why im gonna buy a stripped out 2.0ltr in a couple of months to satisfy my rawness requirements lol If i have enough spare cash ill buy bondys beast if he hasnt sold it by then
yeah i tend to stick with my cars at least for a few years, i dont intend changing too early unless of course i hit jackpot or something and upgrade to something a bit better, but cant wait to pick it up and give it some stick!
