If you can black your room out enough I can guarantee you will have no quarrels with the quality of a full HD projector, I paid about 1k for mine including a 87" screen and it's been treated to a bit of Forza 4 all weekend with Kinnect... Epic

I believe the 1.2 and 1.4 use completely different engines, to be honest the 1.4's can be a little unfriendly on fuel and the tax is a little high - if I had to choose again I'd probably get a slower DCi.

+1 Dust causes most of the electrical shorts in a case, not to mention the fan will just suck it back up :P It also depends what temp the BIOS is set to shut down the computer at, we managed to guess the Admin password when we where at secondary school and we changed all the shut-downs to 15...

If you have to reseat the heat sink make sure you renew the paste too ! it's pretty cheap and it can make a noticeable difference.
