there are precisely 3 cars I would buy from TEZ interwebs at the moment.
2 are overpriced - but that blue one looks nice- to much for me though- looks nice for a private buy.

yes. it was me.
What I will say is that car was MINTER than Mint when I sold it- Mark fish had it for 12 weeks & did a spectacular job on it. In that condition I would have bought it over & over again.
I have some more pics from 2005 ( only mint ones ) if you want them Emailed over

It doesn't matter whether its 10k or 2k
It still needs to be checked over for problems & issues- especially around replacement parts like gearbox & clutch etc-
How many threads appear on here where people have bough used or replacement gearboxes / engines that turned out to be Shi**ers

The only thing that worries me is the recon gearbox - is it any good how long will it last-
looks an ok car, mileage is quite high considering theres a few kicking about on 60k for 2k ish...
Also who did the timing belt- was the aux belt changed> what clutch was used? Valeo~? any invoices?

its on Ebay now. -
I would expect it to sell for around 23-2500 - although it probably needs a cambelt change - also paint on the front end-
Another ~ 1.2k ish to spend.
Best of luck

Im now 30/70 for this now. I am gutted. PH1 not ready- had to wait an extra day for the tie rod end- so may not be ready till Monday-
V6 goes tomorrow & the black one has no tax until the logbook arrives next week.
you couldn't make it up!

the overall problem list on 197s is more extensive on the 197 V the 200's - however a large %age of that is going to be down to age, nothing else-
When the 200 gets to 50k Im sure the list will be the same-
PS im not quite sure where you get the assumption of more 200 boxes- just based on an...
I go from a 200 to 197, back to 182 & across to my ph1 weekly, sometimes daily.
When I get a 200 instock, I drive it- obviously to test it, however its more refined, more grown up & certainly in terms of a bit of personal appearance Id rather drive a new car. Especially any nights out that...

something like this with a haggle price!
If 2k is your top end budget I wouldn't bother thinking of a clio 182- I would go for the earlier 172 cup / 172 ff or even a PH1-
You will get a mint low mileage example of a FF 172 or PH1 for that money, & a good 172 cup.
The problem with people saying they got a good one for 2k is that...
