I decided to go for the 50mm for my first fixed and I absolutely love the thing. Use it all the time. Not tried a 35mm equivalent yet though :)

I had a Janspeed supersport on my old 182. Really decent quality, sounded nice without being ridiculous for when you just want to drive normally. I didn't have any complaints :)

Funny really, I went for 12 months without a car after selling the 182 and moving abroad. Didn't really need a car, but a mate was leaving and offered me his old car for pennies. That lasted 7 weeks before the gearbox died, but I had to go out and get a new car within a few days! Seems weird...

I agree that it is pretty quiet in October! Did you find the amazing Mexican restaurant in Split? It only has 4 seats, run by a guy from the US. The best Mexican I've tasted!
