Rapid is your friend i'd say anything above 1A rated current will be more than enough for a couple of LED's (most LED's would melt once you put more than 100mA through them)

i know on my tv the vga connector has a 3.5mm socket next to it for sound you just need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to transfer sound

yeah it's the right thing to do (change the red and yellow) did either of them touch any metal of the car after they were cut?

cutting them with it still live shouldn't of affected the any fuse unless you cut the ground wire at the same time. so you have replaced the fuse and it still don't work?

what like a thermaltake xaser III that weighted over 25Kg with all the components fitted? lol anyone recommend a couple of good makers of psu's that i can look to find one that fits and is a fairly decent price

yeah it seems that the height and width are the only sizes that are standard just need to find a decent psu that is less than 15cm deep

what i'm wondering is that, are all atx psu's the same size? well it is mainly the depth as my blu-ray drive and psu are touching and pushing the drive a bit forward on the one side so pushing the front cover slightly open.

i'm pretty sure that it will have at least 1 pre-out they will be sockets like said above. have you got the model no. so someone can check for you online?

have you tried kubuntu on it? I've got my laptop dual booting kubuntu and ubuntu and out of the 2 kubuntu seems to run better (both version 8.10)

i wouldn't put an led sidelight lamp in the same unit as a H4 lamp tbh but with seperate lamps for dipped/main and the sidelight being in the main section i would say leds would be fine (unless you use your main beam alot)
