    Special Model?

what the hell is with the arch gap!!! low profile tyres and 4x4 suspension! not a good look. looks like a badly modified car not a standard one.

    weight of a 182 alloy....

i got my ultraleggeras for £400 with tyres 2nd hand. was a bargain. sold my 182 wheels for about £250. so i only had to put £150 towards them :) if i was looking to get some new wheels again, i would go for 15" pro race 1.2's lightweight and cheap tyres.

    weight of a 182 alloy....

that sounds more like it tbh. turinis MUST be lighter than 182 alloys. less material to them so you can see how it was a big difference going from 9.7kg wheels to 5.9kg wheels. it really was noticable.
  15. clio_luke

    weight of a 182 alloy....

yep thats why i bought them and didn't want any other wheel ;)

Finally lowered ALOT on v maxx

neg camber!! might eat the tyres pretty quick. sits at a nice height tho.
  17. clio_luke

    weight of a 182 alloy....

if a standard 182 wheel is 8kg its lighter than a turini, that cant be right! turini is 8.4kg. yep, unsprung weight does make a nice difference.

    weight of a 182 alloy....

my ultraleggeras (16") are 5.9kg each without a tyre. put that up against 16kg as said above (if its correct) and tell me there is no difference! lol

    weight of a 182 alloy....

no idea. i dont design these things. i just dont get brake fade anymore, sharper acceleration, better braking and snappier handling.

    OZ Superleggerra's

oz weight found here http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='Ultraleggera%20Matt'&id_wheels_manufacturers='O.Z%20Racing'&id_wheels_sizes='16x7'&price='155'&permission=739184752 speedline weight found here http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2143

    OZ Superleggerra's

    ultraleggera 16"x7 = 5.9kg turini 16"x7 = 8.4kg thats what i just researched anyway. a lot of difference!

    Brothers new car.....

is it frost on the grille's and fog surrounds or have they been painted? i would change the wheels and maybe the exhaust, everything else loos good tho!
  23. clio_luke

    OZ Superleggerra's

go for some ultraleggeras, great wheels and lighter than turinis.

Hissing noise from around the brake pedal

yeah, i believe its normal for the hissing (air) sound when you press the brake pedal.
  25. clio_luke

    weight of a 182 alloy....

they are heavy. a lot heavier than my ultraleggeras anyway, noticed a huge difference to how the car drives and how easy it is to lift the wheels on and off the car!

    TOYO TR1'S PROXES

    itg maxogen

prob a great bit of kit but i could never pay full price for one. £250 tops imo!
  29. clio_luke

    apex or sportline/proline

i have had all 3 (but on my 182), the sportlines were by far the best all-rounders. apex were low but harsh. prolines handled great but too high (might be a different story on non rs tho)
